The country is amazing, the scenery is majestic, the people are welcoming and the options of where to start from are more than you can count. But don’t worry, when it comes to food; AroundtheWorldCooking has got you covered with it’s top ten list covering Cape Town and Johannesburg. Get ready for one of the best food and vibe experiences of your life.

  1. Neighborgoods Market- A place where art, fashion, live music and the best food from all over Johannesburg meet for just one day a week.  In the heart of a lively, hip and definitely safe neighborhood some dress to impress, some come absolutely relaxed and others are somewhere in between, but everyone comes to enjoy the best authentic food and have a good time.  Every Saturday from 9am-3pm. Our favorite? Kikala’s kitchen
  2. Mezepoli – Greek food in a South African way. You will love the food and the atmosphere. When you come, be sure to try the Peta Bread,  Chicken Wings, Greek Salad and Chips.
  3.  Six Cocktails-This place is an A+ for atmosphere and great food. Located in the midst of other great options in the Melville area of Johannesburg, Six has a great Saturday afternoon crowd, good customer service, a banging DJ who will make you want to dance and sing along. Recommend trying the nachos, seafood pasta, burger and the unforgettable raspberry smoothie.
